You want more clients, but you’re overwhelmed when you get a new inquiry.
When you see a new form submission notification in your inbox (which I have feelings about, but I’ll save that for another email,) you cringe instead of jumping for joy.
You haven’t even talked to this person yet and you’re already worried about how you’re going to juggle their project with the rest. You’re also worn out in advance by all the back and forth messaging you’ll have to do, AND adding them to your project management workspace AND making sure you’ve checked all the onboarding boxes.
If that felt too relatable for you, the reality is – you don’t have the capacity for new clients.
And I get it if that feels counterintuitive, because you NEED more clients and are stressed af in a feast or famine situation.
So many of my Strategy Session clients come to me with this issue, and the big question is:
How do you end up with no capacity and little to no clients at the same time?
ANSWER: By not prioritizing efficiency and ease in the way you run your business.
In a Strategy Session, we have a 1:1 conversation about your greatest desires for your business and identify how to make your systems as efficient as possible. The goal is for you to spend more time and energy creating instead of fumbling with the back end of your biz.
Once we see the root of the issue, we build a transformation plan that addresses every part of your systems problem and breaks down the solutions that will get you the game changing results you need.
After that, we spend 5 days in Voxer implementing your transformation plan. That looks like daily action items, video tutorials, helpful links, and answers to questions you have as we go.
You’re in this “no capacity but not booked out” bind because you don’t have a support system. When your business is operating well, you can welcome new clients with arms wide open, knowing you’re able to serve them to the best of your ability.
When you get a new inquiry, you should wanna pop open champagne, not kleenex 🤧😭
If you’re struggling to take on new clients as a creative despite desperately wanting them, tell me a bit about your biz and let’s create an action plan to build supportive systems into your business.
